This is a role with real influence, ideal for someone ready to build, shape, and elevate a growing finance function while co-developing business strategy and growth plans with the CEO and Senior Leadership Team (SLT). As Divisional CFO, you will sit at the centre of the organisation’s growth journey. You will: Provide clear financial leadership, insight, and challenge to the CEO and SLT, influencing strategic decisions and business performance. Strengthen financial operations, reporting, and governance across the organisation, ensuring robust controls and compliance. Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of partnership, accountability, and continuous improvement. Oversee all financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to support business planning and decision-making. Evaluate, model, and integrate acquisitions, supporting the group’s expansion strategy. Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, external auditors, tax advisors, and other professional partners. Drive improvements in business performance through analysis, insight, and proactive financial guidance. Lead the financial relationship with the UK leadership team and international network. The Candidate: Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with a strong technical foundation and proven leadership experience in a fast-growing or multi-division business. Credible and confident communicator, able to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders. Hands-on and practical, comfortable managing detailed operational finance as well as contributing to high-level strategic planning. Organised, commercially focused, and results-driven, with the ability to identify opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency. Supportive and collaborative, capable of building trust, coaching team members, and bringing calm structure to a dynamic environment. Ambitious and motivated, with the capability to grow into broader leadership roles as the business scales.
