Based at the company’s Central London headquarters, this is a hands-on, high-impact role suited to a commercially minded finance professional who thrives in a dynamic environment.As the business gears up for its 2026 budgeting cycle and continued growth, the successful candidate will take ownership of preparing, implementing, and monitoring budgets across the organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and curious accountant to broaden their finance experience, gain significant commercial exposure, and contribute to shaping the company’s financial performance. A temp-to-perm pathway is available for high performers.The RoleReporting to the Financial Controller, you will lead the preparation of the 2026 budget and cash flow forecasts, ensure alignment across divisions, and support decision-making through clear financial insight. You will quickly build relationships with budget holders, translating financial data into meaningful performance metrics and supporting ongoing reporting, analysis, and process improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesBudgeting, FP&A, and Financial Control Prepare the full organisational budget for 2026, following existing templates and ensuring accuracy and departmental alignment. Develop robust cash flow forecasts and monitor working capital performance. Implement budgets across departments, ensuring ownership, accountability, and clarity around key assumptions. Track performance against budget, providing variance analysis and actionable insights. Engage with budget holders to understand business drivers, challenge assumptions, and provide financial guidance. Support the wider month-end process, financial reporting, and analysis as required.Stakeholder Management & Reporting Build strong relationships across the business, ensuring finance is a trusted partner to operational teams. Present financial insights clearly and confidently, supporting strategic and commercial decision-making. Respond to ad hoc reporting requests and provide clarity around financial processes.Process and Systems Improvement Review existing financial processes, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and control (longer-term focus). Support system improvements, including potential optimisation of NetSuite (desirable).The CandidateThe ideal candidate will be a strong all-round accountant with excellent budgeting, forecasting, and analytical capability, and the ability to influence stakeholders in a fast-moving environment.Essential experience ACA or ACCA qualified, with a solid grounding in accounting and financial control. Strong P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow understanding. Demonstrable experience in preparing full-year budgets and monthly forecasts. Excellent Excel capability, confident in building and adapting financial models. Experience engaging with budget holders, challenging assumptions, and supporting divisional performance.Desirable ExperienceNetSuite experience.Exposure to commercial finance, financial modelling, or business partnering.Experience working in fast-paced, scaling, or entrepreneurial real estate environments.Background in financial process improvement or system optimisation.
