We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Quality Management Lead to initiate and guide tasks and processes, taking full responsibility and accountability for the work of others as needed. Key Responsibilities
* Quality Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to required quality standards and meets project quality objectives and targets.
* Quality Management Procedures: Develop, maintain, and enforce quality management procedures and processes.
* Self-Certification Management: Oversee the process of self-certification, ensuring all supporting evidence is provided.
* Assurance Planning and Delivery: Plan and deliver timely assurance requirements for testing, commissioning, and handover.
* Mentorship: Provide support and mentorship to less experienced project team members.
* Team Leadership: Manage and lead the Quality Team.
Tasks and Responsibilities
* Implement and enforce both company and client quality management systems.
* Develop and regularly update the Quality Plan to meet the requirements of quality systems for each project phase.
* Communicate quality requirements to the project team.
* Serve as the primary contact for the client regarding quality issues.
* Set Project Quality Objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
* Establish and manage a comprehensive Quality Control system at all project levels.
* Develop a handover structure from the project's outset and track progress.
* Maintain and update the list of Management System Documentation throughout the project.
* Advise on the preparation of essential project documents such as Environmental, Health & Safety, Cost, and Risk Management Plans, ensuring these are prepared and revised as needed by relevant team members.
* Conduct quality system audits on all suppliers, including design consultants.
* Review and assess quality documentation submitted by the project team and suppliers.
* Develop and implement a project quality training program, ensuring all project personnel receive necessary training.
* Guide the project team on utilizing the company’s intranet-based Management System.
* Write project-specific procedures and provide guidance on their application.
* Compile and submit monthly reports to both the Client and Taylor Woodrow.
* Record and address non-conformances, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
* Understand Building Information Modeling (BIM) Level 2 requirements and their connection to the Government Construction Strategy and Industrial Strategy 2025.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in quality management within a relevant industry.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* In-depth knowledge of quality management systems and procedures.
* Familiarity with BIM Level 2 and its strategic importance.
