Senior Business Development Manager - Logistics / Freight Forwarding

Location: North West

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000

Our client is a company that puts customers at the heart of everything they do, and this approach is embedded throughout the entire organization.


If you relish a challenge, and feel you have what it takes to work at the peak of the global logistics industry, my client is looking for a talented Sales Director to join their team in Warrington and spearhead the sales growth from this site.


Role Overview:

• Develop the business growth of the branch, leading from the front, and developing new client opportunities.

• Focus primarily on ocean freight but also looking at other suitable opportunities in both air and road freight.

• Build partnerships with new and existing customers and be the face of the sales team.


Key Responsibilities:

• Generate new business sales growth.

• Develop existing business through up selling and cross selling other solutions.

• Nurture client relationships.


Essential Requirements:

• 2-3 years logistics / freight forwarding business development, ideally with a ready-made list of clients that can be integrated at pace.

• Established network within logistics with primary focus on ocean and air freight.

You will either be a proven Senior Business Development Manager, or ready for the next step in your career into a Senior Business Development role.
