Key Responsibilities:
Posting of invoices into the accounting system, ensuring they are coded correctly, and the relevant approvals from departments are requested and obtained.nManagement of payment runs (multicurrency) and sending remittances.nPosting payments into the accounting system and allocating to the relevant invoices.nPerforming bank reconciliationnReviewing and maintaining aged creditor report – reconciling supplier statements and following up on any discrepanciesnOwnership of Stock invoices and GRN process on the accounting system – working closely with the Buying and Merchandising team to ensure accuracy of cost prices / units received and raising any issues with the relevant internal team / suppliers.nManagement of Accounts email InboxnExpenses management and processing.nWorking closely with the finance assistants on relevant AP postingsnSupporting the finance team with the move to the new ERP platform, owning the Accounts Payable functionality and integration of the banking system.nFiling and ensuring strong record keeping is maintained
Qualifications:
Previous experience in Accounts Payable function within a retail fashion business; e-commerce preferable.nExperience with Stock and understanding of accounting principles (i.e posting accruals and prepayments)nStrong Excel skills and Microsoft 365 Dynamics experience preferablenExcellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with other key stakeholders in the business.nAbility to thrive under pressure in a fast past environment.
