You will act as a trusted advisor and thought partner to senior business leaders, aligning talent development strategies with evolving business priorities. Through personalized 1:1 development support, you will support a diverse portfolio of BCG Vantage professionals, enabling them to be successful in their roles and careers. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to: Partnering with Business Leaders* Serve as a trusted Talent Partner to BCG Vantage PA leadership, understanding their people priorities and tailoring Talent Development offerings accordingly.* Act as a strategic thought partner to BCG Vantage Business Directors on both team-wide and individual Talent Development matters.* Identify and communicate developmental themes and patterns across teams, collaborating with leadership to design targeted initiatives.* Partner with broader BCG Vantage leadership and the People Team to identify cross-PA talent challenges and co-develop practical solutions.* Play a critical role in the BCG Vantage Career Development Committees (CDCs) and talent reviews, offering guidance on individual development actions.* Collaborate with BCG Vantage HR leadership to shape and contribute to the overall Talent Development strategy for Vantage. Providing Individual Development Support* Support a portfolio of BCG Vantage employees in a 1:1 advisory capacity, guiding their career growth and development.* Provide counselling and support on consulting skills, leadership development, commercial acumen, and team management in the ‘player-coach’ model.* Partner with BCG Vantage Managers to assess developmental needs, identify competency gaps, and suggest actions to accelerate team members’ growth.* Offer insights on interpreting feedback, translating it into actionable development plans for both individuals and their teams.* Collaborate with Managers, L&D, and other BCG teams to define solutions to address skill gaps and learning needs.* Recommend relevant learning resources aligned to individual development goals and career trajectory.* Propose additional development opportunities such as strategic case staffing, external exposure, cross-functional networking, or senior stakeholder engagement.* Provide career guidance throughout the employee lifecycle—including potential BCG Vantage career path changes or internal BCG moves—acting as a trusted advisor who aligns individual and business goals. Leading BCG Vantage Talent Initiatives* Collaborate with business leadership and the People Team to identify and lead talent and career development initiatives that span the BCG Vantage business.* Act as a subject matter expert in delivering strategic talent projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and employee needs. Collaboration Across the People Team* Partner with BCG Vantage HR, Learning & Development, New Ways of Working (NWOW), and Talent teams to address broader needs in learning, expertise building, and career growth.* When employee relations issues arise, liaise with Regional HR and BCG Vantage Managers to ensure effective resolution.You’re good at* Thriving in a fast-paced, intellectually demanding environment* Operating in a global and remote context* Being a proactive self-starter, with the ability to set your agenda while working effectively in concert with team members in different functions* Navigating a matrixed and highly collaborative organization* Building trust-based relationships across levels* Being empathetic, service-oriented, and credible as a talent expert* Exercising discretion and maintaining confidentiality* Interacting with senior audiences and presenting strategic, thoughtful solutions* Thinking creatively when exploring individual development solutionsWhat You'll Bring* 8–10+ years of relevant experience* An advanced degree (Master’s, MBA, JD, PhD, etc.) is preferred* A strong understanding of the consulting business is essential* Experience in delivering billable professional services, preferably in an expertise-based consulting team or organization* Strong interest and experience in leadership and professional development* Hands-on experience or training in coaching is highly desirable* Prior internal BCG experience in Consulting, Vantage or other client-facing roles is a strong plus* Fluency in English is requiredWho You'll Work With* Vantage Leadership* Vantage team members (all levels)* GBF HR colleaguesBoston Consulting Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
