Warehouse Division Project Supervisor
Pre-Installation
* Work to instruction, off building plans, Mezzanine floor plans and Racking plans.
* Conduct pre installation site surveys ensuring approved designs fit within the building.
* Liaise with sub-contractors on site to discuss final detail requirements. Method of works, scheduling, H&S considerations.
* Identify any hazards that may impede the installation team from doing the job or our design working within the current building.
Project Work
Ensure all contractors work to the build programme.
Contracts Managers to be briefed daily on project progress.
Customers to be briefed daily.
Quality control of contractor’s works is very important.
Toolbox talks to be carried out with trades under our contractual control.
Manage H&S on site.
Work closely with the Contracts Manager on delivery schedules.
Manage plant maintenance.
Manage contractors time keeping.Carry job specific spare components on your van to limit downtime on site. Maintain set growth profit margins. Collect and deliver small deliveries to ensure projects keep to scheduleTake progress pictures through each project for future case studies.
Manage Waste on site to mitigate slips, trips and falls. .
Post Project
* Ensure each construction phase has been signed as per pre project planning.
* Assist the OP’s in collating all the O+M Documentation.
* Ensure plant is off hired when not required.
* Working areas must be clean and presentable to the client.
* Account for all company owed items, chapter 8 barriers for example.
* Methodically/efficiently work through any snags list with the tradesman to ensure prompt sign off.
Travel
* The successful applicant will be expected to be on site every day throughout the installation from when the sub-contractors start work between 07:00hrs 08:30hrs.
* When surveying potential jobs, timings can at times be relaxed. This will be managed through the Op’s Director.
* To manage expectation Supervisors usually clock up 40,000 miles travelling per year.
* There will be an expectation to come into the office to be a part of project planning, once a month
* 1-2 nights away will be the average time spent away.

* Must have a firm understanding that the expectation depending on geographic location to beat the traffic it’s a 05:00hrs start most days with some late evenings.
