Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Test Lead with a strong background in Avaloq to join a Wealth Management company based in London. The successful candidate will lead our testing efforts, ensuring the quality and reliability of our Avaloq banking software solutions. This role involves overseeing the entire testing lifecycle, from planning and strategy to execution and delivery.

Test Management:

Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans for Avaloq projects.nCoordinate and lead all testing activities, including functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

Quality Assurance:nEnsure all testing procedures comply with company standards and industry best practices.nIdentify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.

Collaboration:nWork with project managers, developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.nFacilitate communication between testing team and other departments to ensure alignment and understanding of testing goals.

Reporting:nCreate and maintain detailed documentation of testing activities, results, and quality metrics.nProvide regular status reports to stakeholders and management on testing progress and any issues encountered.

Continuous Improvement:nContinuously evaluate and improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies.nStay current with industry trends and advancements in testing technologies and methodologies.

Experience:nMinimum of 5 years of experience in software testingnExtensive experience with Avaloq Banking Suite and a deep understanding of its architecture and functionalities.nProven track record of managing testing projects in a financial services environment.

Technical Skills:nProficient in testing tools and frameworks such as (Insert relevant tools, e.g., Selenium, JIRA, HP ALM).nStrong knowledge of test automation strategies and tools.nExperience with SQL and scripting languages for test data setup and validation.

Soft Skills:nExcellent leadership and team management abilities.nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.nEffective communication and interpersonal skills.nAbility to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred QualificationsnCertification in software testingnExperience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.nPrior experience with banking and financial services projects.nFamiliarity with other banking software solutions and their integration with Avaloq.
