Search are currently looking for Band 6/7 Diabetes Nurses to work within a team based in Ormskirk.
The team need support for 4-5 days a week, 09:00-17:00. They are supportive and friendly and truly make a difference to peoples lives and our passionate about patient care.
Main duties
Management of own workload, responding to urgent clinical/service needs across locality and liaising with colleagues as required.
To contribute to specialist protocols and policies for diabetes.
Assess, plan and implement specialist nursing care programs. This may be for individual patients or for groups of patients.
Responsible for providing specialist nursing care to patients with complex needs, e.g., those patients requiring insulin therapy.
