Reporting directly to the CFO, the role of the Management Accountant is to manage the core financial disciplines within the organisation including the preparation of monthly and statutory accounts, cash management, stock, balance sheet integrity and financial processes and control. Duties will include:
* Develop, support, manage and lead the core finance team including management accounting and transactional team functions.
* Budgeting & Forecasting.
* Prepare monthly management accounts within agreed timescales highlighting variances to budget/forecast and communicate to stakeholders for action.
* Ensure timely and accurate reporting for the board pack and meetings.
* Work with the Senior Management Team to evaluate the financial model commercial initiatives and provide insight and direction on key business decisions.
* Other ad hoc duties as required by the CFO.
The person:
* Qualified Accountant, Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants or similar professional UK Accounting body (Full Qualification Achieved).
* Held previous senior finance role in industry as minimum 2 years
* Previous experience within a group and/or private equity environment is desirable.
* You will have strong relationship-building skills and be a team player.
* You will love to exceed expectations and enjoy being ‘hands on
