Position Overview:

As an Operational Risk Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the business operations and reputation by identifying, assessing, and mitigating operational risks across the organization. You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders to develop and implement robust risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures that align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:nSupporting the implementation of Operational Risk framework across core and emerging commercial and operational activitiesnConduct risk assessments to identify and evaluate operational risks associated with trading activities, processes, systems, and controls.nMonitor and analyze key risk indicators to proactively identify emerging risks and trends.nHelping to devise and implement and Enterprise Risk Management framework and Risk Control Self-Assessments (RCSA)nWork closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and action plans.nConduct root cause analysis of risk events and incidents to identify opportunities for process improvements and control enhancements.nAssist in the development and implementation of risk reporting and monitoring tools to enhance visibility and transparency of operational risks.

Qualifications:nEither proven experience in operational risk management or within the Marine Fuels trading industry.nStrong understanding of commodity trading operations, including market risk, credit risk, and operational risk.nSolid knowledge of risk management frameworks, methodologies, and tools.

The role is hybrid (3 days in the Gibraltar office) with a salary range of £50-80k, flexible for the right candidate. Wider package includes bonus, pension, Bupa healthcare, etc.
