We are currently working with a specialist, investment-led fund manager looking for an investment risk analyst to join their team.
Role/Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Risk Analyst to join the Risk Department.
Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring portfolio risk across various strategies.
- Producing risk and performance reports and investigating out-of-tolerance metrics.
- Collaborating with internal teams on data-related queries.
- Working with Portfolio Managers and analysts to refine analyses and communicate findings.
- Utilizing third-party and internal tools to analyse risk exposures.
- Developing tools for analysis and data management.
- Assisting in implementing and monitoring investment hedges.
- Responding to investor requests with the Sales and Client Services teams.
Skills Required:
- Strong academic credentials and quantitative skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Understanding of markets and portfolio construction.
- Ability to meet tight and multiple deadlines.
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with Python, VBA, and SQL is a plus.
