BAM UK & Ireland is recruiting a PowerApps Developer. The position will involve a mixture of working from home and any UK and Ireland office location. BAM operates a flexible working policy.
As a Senior PowerApps Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-quality solutions using Microsoft's Power Platform and Dataverse. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions that are robust, scalable, and user-friendly. Your extensive experience with PowerApps, Dataverse, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes will be crucial in solving complex problems and optimizing our business processes.
Your mission
• Design, develop, and implement PowerApps solutions to meet business requirements.
• Utilize Power Platform tools, including Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse, to create integrated solutions.
• Implement complex logic and custom workflows within PowerApps.
• Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of developed applications.
• Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality projects on time.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure quality and performance.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Design and manage ETL processes to ensure efficient data integration and transformation.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Power Platform updates and industry best practices.
Who are we looking for?
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing applications using Microsoft PowerApps and Power Platform.
• Extensive experience with Dataverse (formerly known as Common Data Service).
• Strong understanding of Dynamics 365
• Proven ability to implement complex logic and custom workflows within PowerApps.
• Strong understanding of data integration, data modeling, and database design.
• Proficiency in Power Automate, Power BI, and other Power Platform tools.
• Experience with ETL processes, including designing and managing data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Experience with Azure services and other Microsoft technologies is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience with Databricks and PySpark an advantage.
