Job Description:
Social Staffing is seeking two dedicated and compassionate Senior Children Support Workers on behalf of our esteemed client in Northampton, NN4. As a Senior Children Support Worker, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the well-being, safety, and development of the children under your care.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct support and care to children and young people, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Develop and implement personalized care plans.
Support the emotional and social development of children.
Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Work collaboratively with other professionals and agencies.
Lead and mentor junior staff members.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of care practices. Requirements:
Must hold a Level 3 qualification in Children’s Workforce (or equivalent).
Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a senior position.
Strong understanding of child development and safeguarding practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends if required.
