HireCircle is excited to be working with a fast growing e-commerce platform, specialising in providing comprehensive and innovative solutions for retailers and brands, seeking an experienced Finance Director (FD) to join their leadership team.


The successful candidate will be responsible for directing the company's financial goals, objectives, and budgets, overseeing the investment of funds, managing associated risks, supervising cash management activities, and ensuring that the financial reports are accurate and completed in a timely manner.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the financial strategy of the company in alignment with its overall business goals.
  • Oversee all aspects of financial management, including financial planning and analysis, revenue forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Lead the finance team in managing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring that all financial transactions and data are recorded accurately.
  • Serve as the key point of contact for external auditors and regulatory bodies for all financial audits and examinations.
  • Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the company (e.g., evaluation of potential alliances, investments, or acquisitions).
  • Develop and implement systems for financial and risk management.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory legislation and regulations, and manage investor relations.
  • Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions of the organization.
  • Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies, and regulatory actions.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as FD, finance officer, or relevant role in a high-growth environment, preferably within the e-commerce or tech sectors.
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software.
  • Ability to strategise and solve problems.
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers.
