Senior Finance Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Manager to join our team at Trinity Care. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in driving our financial performance and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and present monthly consolidated management accounts and group reporting packs to the Financial Director and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, including the preparation of annual consolidated financial statements.
  • Develop and implement robust internal financial control procedures to ensure the integrity of our financial systems.
  • Collaborate with the Financial Director and other team members to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to streamline accounting functions.
  • Provide financial guidance and support to the management team, including the preparation of cash flow projections and annual budgets.
  • Assist with the integration of new acquisitions and ensure a smooth transition of financial responsibilities.
Requirements:
  • Professional accountancy qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) with a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience.
  • Proven experience in staff management and leadership, including the management of a financial function.
  • Extensive understanding of finance and IT systems, including required controls.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of Sage or equivalent financial system.
