We're working exclusively with our client to support their scale up with this newly created opportunity.

The role
As the Regulatory & Compliance Manager, you will ensure that the on and off pack claims and communications are regulated and compliant. You will provide support, risk assessments and solutions for product labelling and regulatory issues and be a central contact for the Regulatory team at the wider parent group which is well known Pet Nutrition firm.
 
You will be responsible for:
Building the framework and process for claims management; Owning the process ongoing to ensure that all product claims made on and off pack are checked, documented and approved
Owning key documentation such as claims, policies, procedures and substantiation so that the Brand, Marketing and Digital Product teams have clear guidelines to work within
Being the direct contact for the parent company RSA teams and attend relevant RSA and industry meetings
Keeping abreast of local and international regulatory changes in the pet food market and be a subject matter expert on labelling, animal by products, additives, FEDIAF codes, etc.
Proposing, implementing and validating action plans in response to regulatory changes in the market; Reporting back to the team and proposing and implementing action plans in response to regulatory changes
Contributing as a key team member on innovation and renovation projects and be assigned as the regulatory collaborator The skills you’ll bring:
A wealth of knowledge in regulatory compliance, EU regulations, industry codes and guidelines in the pet industry
Fantastic at planning and organising with an eye for detail
Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly, effectively and appropriately to pack members and stakeholders on regulatory and compliance matters
Confident representing our client at relevant trade associations
Ideally we'd love experience of Regulatory compliance in Pet Nutrition but we also welcome experience from Human food sector.
