WHAT YOU’LL DO:

The function of the trade finance team is to design and implement trade finance lines and other liquidity solutions, maintain day to day relationships with banking partners to maintain current facilities and work with front office to find funding solutions for projects from planning stage onwards. This role is primarily responsible for supporting the Trade Finance team with day-to-day operational activities.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Produce, maintain and update detailed reports for internal and external stakeholders.nWorking closely with the internal Cash Flow and Treasury teams to produce Trade Finance cash flows and relevant reports.nAssisting with inventory financing process and reporting.nAssist with the production of Letters of Credit for relevant banks and stakeholders.nAct as point of support to the Trade Finance team suggesting improvements/alternative solutions where needed;nAssist in the review and organization of trade finance documentation.nWork in close collaboration with finance team based in Dublin, as well as operations and trading teams.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Previous experience/knowledge of the commodities/bunkering sector is an advantage.nAn analytical mind-set and a high level of attention to detail; able to analyse and interpret information, process data and maintain a focus on quality.nA high level of commercial acumen, with the ability to communicate with stakeholders inside the business as well as externally.nA flexible and adaptable attitude, with the ability to multi-task and respond quickly to changing priorities; able to prioritise work effectively and meet deadlines.nStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to build, expand and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the business.nHigh level of computer literacy including proficiency of MS Office package in particular using Microsoft Excel to an Intermediate level (pivot tables, conditional formulas).nAbility to communicate and work effectively with a diverse team located in all global offices.nSpanish language skills desirable but not essential.

QUALIFICATIONS/ACCREDITATIONSn• Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or other related subject.
