WHAT YOU’LL DO:


The function of the trade finance team is to design and implement trade finance lines and other liquidity solutions, maintain day to day relationships with banking partners to maintain current facilities and work with front office to find funding solutions for projects from planning stage onwards. This role is primarily responsible for supporting the Trade Finance team with day-to-day operational activities.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Produce, maintain and update detailed reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Working closely with the internal Cash Flow and Treasury teams to produce Trade Finance cash flows and relevant reports.
  • Assisting with inventory financing process and reporting.
  • Assist with the production of Letters of Credit for relevant banks and stakeholders.
  • Act as point of support to the Trade Finance team suggesting improvements/alternative solutions where needed;
  • Assist in the review and organization of trade finance documentation.
  • Work in close collaboration with finance team based in Dublin, as well as operations and trading teams.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE


  • Previous experience/knowledge of the commodities/bunkering sector is an advantage.
  • An analytical mind-set and a high level of attention to detail; able to analyse and interpret information, process data and maintain a focus on quality.
  • A high level of commercial acumen, with the ability to communicate with stakeholders inside the business as well as externally.
  • A flexible and adaptable attitude, with the ability to multi-task and respond quickly to changing priorities; able to prioritise work effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build, expand and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the business.
  • High level of computer literacy including proficiency of MS Office package in particular using Microsoft Excel to an Intermediate level (pivot tables, conditional formulas).
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with a diverse team located in all global offices.
  • Spanish language skills desirable but not essential.


QUALIFICATIONS/ACCREDITATIONS

• Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or other related subject.
