About the Role
Join a defence team in Bristol and play a pivotal role in developing the UK's first Laser DEW concept demonstrator. You'll be responsible for applying and augmenting toolsets and simulations specifically for the Laser domain, ensuring the effectiveness of this revolutionary weapon system.
Here's what you'll be doing:
Develop and maintain complex simulations using industry-standard tools like MATLAB and Simulink
Analyze data from trials and experiments to calibrate and improve these simulations
Lead a small team and manage work packages within the project.
Take control of a multifaceted set of tools, prioritizing development based on business needsYou'll be a great fit if you have:
Experience in developing tools, simulations, or algorithms in MATLAB or similar
A proven track record of delivering complex simulations
A strong understanding of object-oriented programming and semi-empirical toolset development
Excellent leadership and project management skills
The ability to manage budgets and deliver results on timeSecurity Clearance must be achievable (Sole British Nationals Only)
