About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a cutting-edge project that pushes the boundaries of defence technology. As a Laser DEW Effects Tools and Simulation Engineer, you will be working in a dynamic and collaborative environment, interacting with a small team to deliver complex simulations and tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain toolsets and simulations for the DragonFire programme
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver complex simulations and tools
  • Lead tasks and work packages, interacting with the project team
  • Manage and deliver a network of interconnected product releases
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality results on time, cost, and quality
Requirements:
  • Experience in developing tools, simulations, or algorithms in MATLAB or similar toolsets
  • Proven track record in delivering, or, proving and testing complex simulations written in Simulink or similar environment
  • Understanding of object-oriented MATLAB or similar toolset
  • Ability to simplify and codify complex system interactions
  • Sound understanding of version control principles and ability to implement them
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Proven track record in delivering on time, cost, and quality
