Laboratory Technician

The Company
This highly successful, global company, which is a market leader with great resources to an international team, requires an enthusiastic person, with a keen interest in chemistry and science, to join them.
You will need an A level in Chemistry and or a Degree in Chemistry, or related Discipline.
The Position
You will be working closely with Technologists and the Customer Support Manager.
The position requires you to cover a wide range of activities, from ensuring the timely execution of customer complaints to the dispatch of ink samples to new and existing customers and dealing with manufacturing issues.
The overall intention is to improve the overall customer experience.
Full training and ongoing support provided for this new position.
You must possess good communication and excellent organisational skills.
* You will be using equipment, machinery, and instruments, which require safe operation according to SOP's. You will be maintaining stock levels for consumables to keep work progressing.
* You will contribute to product development and formulation. This will require undertaking experiments independently or in collaboration with team members.
* Writing clear supporting documents where applicable for new product development is an essential part of this position.
* Following SOP's and development methods to undertake work that supports development projects and or adds to team learning is another aspect of the role.
* Applying know-how and overcoming challenges in product development and associated testing is another major part of the position.
