About the role:
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant with a specialism in SEMH to join our dynamic team. This full-time position has become available due to an expansion of our support team, reflecting our commitment to providing individualized attention to our students.
In this role, you will be working closely with a small group of students, ensuring their emotional and educational needs are met. You will be part of a supportive environment with a class size that allows for personalised learning experiences.
Application Requirements:
• Previous experience working with children with SEMH needs in a school setting.
• A strong understanding of behavior management strategies.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
• Relevant qualifications in education or a related field are desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support students with SEMH needs in their learning and personal development.
• Assist in the planning and implementation of individualised education plans (IEPs).
• Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to create a positive learning environment.
• Monitor and record student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
