Are you an experienced engineer skilled in critical facilities and data center operations? Do you excel in a fast-paced environment where technical expertise and leadership are key? We are seeking a Data Centre Shift Leader to join our team and manage the safe and efficient operation of our data center infrastructure.


The Role:

As a Data Centre Shift Leader, you will lead a team of engineers on a 24/7 shift pattern to ensure the smooth operation, maintenance, and risk management of critical data center systems. You will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day technical maintenance activities, overseeing subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with all safety and operational standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the engineering shift team to deliver high-quality service and ensure safety compliance.
  • Operate and maintain M&E systems, including HV Electrical systems, with a focus on efficiency and risk management.
  • Act as the Authorized Person for 11kV Electrical Systems, managing Permits to Work (PTW).
  • Oversee subcontractor work, ensuring it aligns with client requirements and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Ensure accurate reporting of completed tasks and maintain stock levels of critical spares.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, safety awareness, and operational excellence.


What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of experience in data center or critical environment operations.
  • HV Authorized Person qualification.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage a team effectively.
  • Proactive approach with a high level of initiative and attention to detail.
