Inventory Manager - Surrey - up to £45,000
We are currently partnering with a CleanTech client based in Surrey to source an Inventory Manager to join their ever-growing team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Material Controller to ensure the delivery of materials, address discrepancies and manage supplier returns.
Responsibilities
- Follow up on deliveries, track missing materials/parts and ensure availability of goods
- Liaise with the production team to ensure efficient material management
- Conduct goods assessments and inspections
- Conduct regular stocktakes to ensure compliance with internal audits
- Create kits of parts for production, issue parts on time to the production line and collect empty stillages
- Monitor the shelf life of stock
Experience/Qualification
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment
- Previous experience using inventory management systems/software
- Excellent understanding of Health & Safety regulations
- Demonstrate experience with resolving stock discrepancies and issues
- Strong communication skills with excellent teamwork qualities
