We are seeking an experienced Planner to join our London-based team and help ensure the successful delivery of the Marine & Tunnels portion of this ambitious project.
About the Role: As a Planner, you will work closely with the Planning Lead and the broader SZC team, taking responsibility for developing, coordinating, and monitoring the project delivery programme. Manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring alignment with the master portion programme.
Prepare programme submissions and detail changes and variances in programme narratives.
Implement environmental constraints and ensure they are reflected in the programme.
Your Profile:
Essential Qualifications: Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related sector. Proven experience in civil engineering planning with proficiency in NEC and P6.
Skills: Strong technical proficiency, excellent communication skills, a commitment to fostering a safety culture, and effective problem-solving abilities.
Experience: Experience in producing and managing construction programmes for medium to large-scale infrastructure projects, including highways, rail, utilities, site establishment, earthworks, marine structures, and general civil engineering works.
Desirable: CIOB/MICE Membership and experience with 4D/Synchro Modelling.
Key Competencies:
Humility: Value diverse cultures and experiences, and be open to others' viewpoints and ideas.
Positivity: Challenge poor quality and performance constructively, and encourage innovative solutions.
Respect: Value the rules and environment, and embrace new people and ideas.
Solidarity: Operate as 'One team', working closely together and sharing responsibility for project outcomes.
Clarity: Communicate clearly and consistently, promote team alignment, and drive fast, effective decision-making.
