We are looking for a proficient Planner to join our team and contribute to the successful execution of the Marine & Tunnels segment of this ambitious initiative.


About the Position:

In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Planning Lead and the wider project team, taking charge of formulating, coordinating, and overseeing the project delivery schedule.

Your responsibilities will include maintaining the primary schedule, gathering data for performance analysis, and assisting with project controls.

This position demands a high degree of technical expertise and exceptional communication skills to engage effectively with various stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to maintain the Programme for Acceptance.
  • Prepare and update stage schedules while communicating progress to construction teams.
  • Work alongside the Project Controls Manager and Commercial Management Team to generate regular reports.
  • Assist in early warning and change management processes.
  • Coordinate performance metrics and progress updates from project management software into the Project Controls Dashboard.
  • Optimize resource allocation to achieve project goals, balancing expenses and minimizing delays.
  • Analyze project data and key performance indicators to monitor progress and make informed decisions.
  • Oversee subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring alignment with the overall project schedule.
  • Prepare programme submissions and document changes and variances in programme narratives.
  • Implement environmental considerations and ensure they are incorporated into the project schedule.

Your Profile:
Essential Qualifications:

A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, along with proven experience in civil engineering planning, particularly with NEC and P6.


Skills:

Demonstrated technical proficiency, outstanding communication abilities, a commitment to safety culture, and effective problem-solving skills.


Experience:

Experience in developing and managing construction schedules for medium to large-scale infrastructure projects, including highways, rail, utilities, site establishment, earthworks, marine structures, and general civil engineering works.


Desirable:

Membership in CIOB/MICE and familiarity with 4D/Synchro Modelling.
