Blair West is working in partnership with Eden Farm, a national wholesaler and distributor, part of AIM-Listed Kitwave Plc as they look to add a talented, qualified Financial Controller to their growing Frozen & Chilled wholesale division.

The opportunity:

Ensuring all accounting processes are completed in line with agreed reporting deadlines.nLeading the month end close process to deliver timely, consistent, and accurate data and financial reports for the business.nPerforming timely and accurate reconciliations and analysis to provide assurance over the reported financial performance of the companies.nPreparation and reconciliation of the month end margin.nReview of Balance Sheet Reconciliations, completed by Finance Manager, owning, monitoring and addressing reconciling items, identifying risks and opportunities.nLeading and driving all IT/ Finance improvement projects.nPlay a key role in the year end audit including the production of lead schedules and sample data.nSupport in annual budget setting process.nManaging and improving accounting controls and processes.nLine management of on-site transactional finance, principally Credit Control, and finance manager.

You'll be the ideal candidate for this position if you're:

A qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).nA driven, commercial and forward thinking Finance professional.nGood with commercial and business acumen, together with an ability to communicate and explain financial results.nMethodical with a strong attention to detail.nExperienced in a senior role within a fast-paced environment.nAble to demonstrate a background in driving, supporting and leading through change.nOrganised and have good administrative skills.nAble to manage multiple mixed priorities at any given time.nGreat at communicating and have good interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with all stakeholders including senior management.nExperienced with IT programmes (Excel, Word) and Finance Systems.
