The Role 12 month Fixed Term contract London Business School require a Director of Quality and Academic Standards to join us on a 12 month Fixed Term contract. You will be the School’s expert on quality assurance and academic standards. Reporting to the Deputy Dean, you will contribute to the governance of the School by providing leadership, advice to senior management, and ensuring compliance with both internal and external requirements. You will enhance the School's academic framework, manage student casework, and lead the development of policies and procedures to maintain the high standards of LBS. Main Responsibilities Provide leadership and secretariat services to academic committees. Collaborate with senior academics to maintain and safeguard academic standards. Lead the development and implementation of policies for managing student casework. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and mitigate risks for the School. Contribute to strategic planning and partner with senior management for effective decision-making. Provide expert advice and produce reports to support decision-making processes. Manage partnerships and suppliers to ensure maximum value for money. Who we are looking for Professional qualification or relevant experience in legislation and policies. Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to negotiate and collaborate. Proven financial management skills and commercial acumen. Experience in leading complex business change solutions. Understanding of LBS activities and offerings.
