About the Role As the Associate Director of Quality Assurance, you will champion regulatory rigor while redesigning QA as a powerful engine for insight, learning, and continuous improvement. Partnering closely with the Operational teams, you will lead the transition from traditional QA to a dynamic, technology‑enabled model that delivers defensible compliance and actionable business intelligence. As the right hand to the Director of Operational Oversight, you will help lead and inspire the QA team, ensuring every insight drives exceptional outcomes for our customers and for Lendable. Team Objectives Deliver robust, end-to-end quality assurance for excellent customer outcomes. Maintain and strengthen regulatory compliance and risk management posture. Harness AI-powered sampling and analytics to unlock deeper insights. Translate QA findings into practical recommendations that inspire change. Foster a culture of proactive, data-driven continuous improvement. Support growth within the QA team and develop next-generation skills. Impact Oversee evolution and adoption of an AI-first QA approach. Validate that AI-driven QA delivers defensible, actionable scoring. Partner with stakeholders to spotlight insights and co-create change initiatives. Develop scalable QA frameworks that champion solutions. Mentor and upskill team members to articulate QA insights. Represent QA in senior forums, promoting its value as a partner in growth. Requirements Experience leading or transforming quality assurance in regulated, technology-led environments (fintech or consumer lending preferred). Strategic thinking and ability to translate complex data into actionable decisions. Results-focused mindset balancing business and customer needs. Collaborative, growth mindset and willingness to challenge assumptions. Strong ownership and proactive problem-solving attitude. Demonstrated expertise in harnessing data/AI for operational insight. Strong leadership skills to coach, challenge, and grow high-performing teams. Partnering approach—comfortable influencing at senior levels, operating fast.
