Are you passionate about student welfare and pastoral care? Little Lever Secondary School is seeking a dedicated Pastoral Manager to join our supportive team. This non-teaching role involves being a Head of Year for a key stage, providing essential support and guidance to our students.
Position: Pastoral Manager (Head of Year)
Location: Little Lever Secondary School, Little Lever
Hours: 8:00am to 4:00pm
Salary: £105 per day for the right candidate
Contract: Long-term with strong potential to become permanent
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the pastoral care and wellbeing of students within a designated key stage.
Act as the Head of Year, managing student behaviour, attendance, and overall progress.
Develop and implement strategies to support students' social, emotional, and academic needs.
Work closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to provide comprehensive support for students.
Promote a positive and inclusive school culture, fostering strong relationships with students and staff.
Monitor and track student progress, providing regular reports to senior leadership.Qualifications and Experience:
Experience in a pastoral or student support role within an educational setting.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to manage and resolve conflicts effectively.
Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to student welfare.
