Job Description

The Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Performance Media Planning Manager to join our dedicated team working on the Three Mobile account. This is a flagship account characterised by innovation and advanced use of technology. As a Performance Media Planning Manager, you will play a crucial role in planning and executing media strategies across both consumer and B2B segments.

The Client: Three 

Three is a pioneering mobile operator known for its commitment to making the Internet accessible and enjoyable for everyone. They have been a transformative force in the mobile market, known for their data-driven approach and innovative services. With ambitious growth targets for 2024 and beyond, Three aims to make its brand more familiar and relevant to a wider audience.

This role involves working on Three's consumer performance (handset and SIM) and B2B segments. The performance line of business leverages both online and offline DR channels, market-leading digital tools, and a strong test-and-learn framework to keep Three at the forefront of the evolving digital landscape, including the use of Influencer advertising. Additionally, you will take the day-to-day lead across Three Business, planning and delivering multi-channel media strategies from brand building to performance optimisation. This includes driving impactful initiatives in one of Three's fastest-growing business lines, with ample opportunities for growth, innovation, and industry firsts.

Responsibilities

  • Campaign Management: Lead the day-to-day running of the team and campaign delivery, ensuring timely and proactive client management.
  • Client Relations: Build strong, trusted relationships with key day-to-day clients, and maintain high standards of client service.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the Strategist & Planning Director on annual responses and lead smaller responses to client briefs, delivering outstanding work.
  • Team Leadership: Embrace and drive a positive culture within your team, providing guidance and support to junior team members.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with partner agencies and suppliers, fostering positive relationships.
  • Innovation and Growth: Influence and drive impactful initiatives, leveraging a strong test-and-learn framework to position Three at the forefront of the evolving digital landscape.

In the First Six Months, You Will:

  • Play a major role in planning the 2024 campaign for Three across consumer and B2B lines.
  • Run PCAs and test-and-learn frameworks, working closely with channel experts, strategists, and digital leads.
  • Support the development of junior team members, helping them progress professionally and personally.

Skills and Experience

  • Media Planning Expertise: Proven experience in planning and optimizing campaigns across ATL and digital channels, with a good understanding of social, search, and programmatic channels.
  • Client Management: Experience presenting to clients and managing client relationships.
  • Strategic and Analytical Thinking: Ability to use multiple data inputs to create well-thought-through and exciting media solutions.
  • Project Management: Excellent project management skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and stakeholders.
  • Telco Experience: Previous experience within the telecommunications category is a plus, but not essential.
  • Collaborative Attitude: A confident, ambitious, and motivated planner who enjoys working within a strong collaborative culture.
