What Are We Looking For?

Our Building Information Modelling (BIM) team is looking to recruit a Document Controller on a permanent basis working out of our Inverness office. The primary function of the role is to provide support to the wider business and ensure QA/QC of design and manufacturing teams meet compliance for CAD/BIM information output. Ensure technical documents and design drawings are issued following procedures and provide document guidance to all team members.

Some of Your Key Duties Include:

Controlling BIM and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) project documentation.nAdvising the numbering, naming convention, filing and formatting of documents and drawings issued by the design teams.nFollowing and improving document control procedures.nEnsuring site and office documentation conform to the company and client requirements and standards.nUsing PowerBI Dashboards, review non-compliance on ACC projects.nProduce document progress reports for senior managers.nProduce BIM Execution Plans.nTracking and dealing with staff queries and problems.nAny other duties as required by the business.

What Do You Need?

Qualified to HNC level would be advantageous.nPrevious office/administrative experience.nGood use of Microsoft Products, Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams.nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal.nAbility to communicate effectively (face to face and telephone).nWork to deadlines to produce work to a high standard.nUnderstanding the BIM process would be advantageous.nFull UK Driving Licence
