An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Student Lifecycle Services team, which is responsible for the set up and maintenance of core student records in the SITS database. The team works closely with faculties to ensure appropriate processes are in place to maintain these records throughout the student lifecycle. The team is success-oriented and enthusiastic in their approach to dealing with high volumes of queries whilst delivering excellent service, from enrolment through to graduation and beyond.
About the role
The Student Lifecycle Services team is a busy operation at the heart of UCL's student administration. An essential part of the team's role is to work closely with faculties and departments to foster a collaborative approach to the management of the student records throughout their time at UCL.
As Student Lifecycle Manager you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of student record-keeping from enrolment to award, ensuring department and faculty colleagues understand the processes within our remit. You will take the lead on specific workstreams, such as Change of Circumstances, Enrolment or Exam Boards, managing the processes across the whole team. You will manage enrolment centres during the main enrolment periods and support major events such as examinations, A level Results day and graduation.

About you
The successful candidate will have substantial experience of working in an administrative support role in a busy university environment, with excellent knowledge of the SITS system or other equivalent student records system. They will have demonstrable experience in managing others, both directly and indirectly, and in influencing others to achieve common targets.
They will have excellent interpersonal skills in both written and oral communications, with an ability to prepare reports and plans and present these to variable audiences, including the ability to convey complex information to audiences with varying concerns and levels of understanding.
The postholder will also have a good knowledge and interest in student data, with excellent IT skills and an ability to manipulate and interpret large, complex sets of data.
