Our client, a well-respected educational institution in Ashington, Northumberland, is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting students with special educational needs, ensuring they receive the individualised attention and support necessary to thrive in their learning environment. As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant , you will work closely with the teaching staff to develop and implement personalised learning plans tailored to each student's unique requirements. Your primary responsibility will be to provide one-on-one support and guidance to students, assisting them in overcoming challenges and achieving their full potential. This will involve adapting learning materials, facilitating small group activities, and fostering a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere. To excel in this role, you should possess a genuine passion for working with children and a deep understanding of the diverse needs of students with special educational requirements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be interacting with students, parents, and colleagues on a daily basis. Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are key attributes that will contribute to your success in this position. Our client offers a competitive salary range of £96.24 to £104.26 per day, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
