Contract Manager – Based Enfield
Basic Salary: £40,000 to £60,000 plus company car, pension, and benefits
As a Contracts Manager, the purpose of your role is to manage and monitor reactive repairs, preventative planned maintenance programmes, installations, and special projects for various contracts across the CCTV and the Access Control Warden Call Department.
As a Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for managing engineers, and all associated personal with the contract.
As a Contracts Manager, you will conduct H&S Risk Assessments Asbestos trained, and able to produce method statements and deliver toolbox talks and produce estimates for schedule of rate contracts.
Candidate Skills
* Educated ideally to HNC level and hold a BSC in Construction Management qualification
* SFG20, PPM & Statutory compliance awareness and have soe quantity surveying knowledge/experience
* Strong planning skills along with the ability to prepare annual programme of works
* Write and design performance reports and chart
* Experienced of using MS Office Suite including Microsoft Project,
* Have Asbestos Awareness training and be able to manage Health & Safety risks
* Have a proficient level of computers skills in MS Office Suite and Microsoft Project
* Experience of leading and managing a team excellent communication skill, written, and spoken
Duties
* You will liaise with clients and attend onsite meetings, preparing estimates/quotes.
* Ensure that all works are conducted in accordance with the ‘Health and Safety works act, to industry standards and within contract specifications.
* Preparation of annual PPM and statutory compliance programme of works and manage and monitor of onsite contractors
* Plan and co-ordination of direct labour, ensuring that programme is on time and in budget and update the programme works, preparation of performance and status reports
* Develop commercial awareness and lead the continued improvements for PPM & testing regimes
* Ensure all H&S risks are managed by sub-contractors, specialist contractors and direct labour, including but not limited to, ensuring legal compliance, preparation of risk and method statements for the works.
* Ensure all associated paperwork and documents associated with the contracts are uploaded
* Prepare financial budgets, completing financial variations and application for payments
