The Role The Accounts Payable Specialist role involves tasks such as reviewing invoices, ensuring accurate and timely payments, reconciling accounts, and maintaining records of transactions. By overseeing the accounts payable process, the specialist helps maintain strong vendor relationships and ensures the company's financial operations run smoothly and efficiently. We’re Looking For Someone Who Can Demonstrate Minimum 1-2 years' experience within an Accounts Payable Team. Experience processing high volumes of transactions and invoices, ideally in multiple currencies. Proficient in data entry and management. Excellent reconciliation skills and proven track record of reconciling historic accounts. Strong system experience and prior knowledge of accounting packages. Experience of month end procedures. Attention to detail with a strong focus on process optimization and automation. Typical Job Duties Would Include Review and verify invoices, ensuring accurate coding. Match purchase orders, invoices, and receipts to verify accuracy before payment. Assist with month end close and reporting. Prepare and execute payments. Liaising with Vendors and maintaining strong relationships. Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues. Monitor aging reports and ensure timely resolution of outstanding items.
