H9 Technical Recruitment are partnered with a leading client within the Circular Economy sector and are looking for a Head of Business Development /Commercial Manager to join their senior management team in London. The company has an established recycling facility in the North West and plans to expand to a second site in 2024. This role will be instrumental in the setting up of a sales and business development strategy for further growth to their second site, as well as establishing a reliable feedstock supply chain.
The role could be based outside of London but would require regular travel into London and to other stakeholder and client sites.
Responsabilities
Developing and executing sales strategies
Negotiating contracts and commercial agreements
Utilise data analytics and create reports
Work closely with the executive team
Create strategies for the team to deliver on objectives
Drive sales and revenue
Identify contracts and partnerships
Understanding of product offerings
Qualifications
Ability to negotiate commercial and contractual agreements
Experience working within a similar sector would be advantageous (recycling, waste management, plastics/polymers, aggregates , wholesales markets.
Sales & Commercial background
Analytical mindset
Tech savy, good understanding of software and digital systems
Clear communication
Ability to manage a team
