What you’ll donWrite, execute, and maintain UI tests for Mercury.nPerform manual testing to ensure comprehensive testing coverage and identify potential issues.nWork closely with Developers within an Agile development team to test user stories during the development process, contributing to the overall quality of the software.nEffectively log and assist in prioritising defects using Azure DevOps, ensuring a streamlined and organised approach to issue resolution.nCollaborate with team members to iteratively improve working practices, contribute to regression testing activities for releases, and actively participate in creating an innovative and forward-thinking work culture while adhering to established departmental and company processes.

Who you arenDemonstrate a solid foundation in QA engineering with a proven ability to hit the ground running.nStrong skills in UI testing, including experience with tools and frameworks relevant to UI testing.nPractical experience working with Jira and/or Azure DevOps for managing tasks and projects, along with proficiency in Git source control.nStrong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies with hands-on experience working in Agile Development Teams, using frameworks like Kanban or SCRUM.nDemonstrable expertise in the entire testing life cycle, including defining test plans and scripts, executing tests, and effectively managing defects.nAbility to speak up, challenge, and question effectively, fostering a collaborative environment within the team.nGood proficiency in exploratory testing with a 'What if' mindset, enabling proactive identification of potential issues.

DesirablenBe ISTQB certified.nExperience logging and managing defects in tools such as Azure DevOps.nExperience in automation testing of UI using frameworks like Selenium would be desirable but not essential.
