Our client, a £50m+ turnover Main Contractor, is seeking an Assistant Estimator / Estimating Administrator to join their rapidly growing team. Specialising in high-end residential refurbishment and new build projects valued up to £20m, this company operates in the prestigious areas of Chelsea, Kensington, Holland Park, and Knightsbridge, as well as luxury country homes in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, and Oxfordshire.

The Role:
You will report directly to the Preconstruction Manager and Directors, playing a key role in supporting their estimating function. This position offers excellent long-term development opportunities within a dynamic and friendly team environment. The directors are approachable, and you’ll be working alongside a skilled team, including trusted subcontractors with whom they have long-standing relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with preparation of cost estimates and tenders
- Supporting the Preconstruction Manager with day to day administration e.g. sending enquiries, obtaining quotes etc.
- Maintaining relationships with key subcontractors and suppliers
What You’ll Need:
- Previous experience in estimating or preconstruction administration with a construction main contractor
- Prime Residential market experience is preferred but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
