We are seeking an experienced QA Manager to oversee quality assurance across multiple high-profile construction sites in London and the South East. This is a key role within the company, offering a competitive salary of up to £85k, along with an exceptional benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
* Quality Assurance Leadership: Develop, implement, and maintain rigorous quality assurance processes across all construction activities, ensuring that every project meets the highest standards of quality and compliance.
* Site Audits & Inspections: The QA Manager will regularly conduct site audits and inspections to verify that construction work adheres to industry regulations, client requirements, and company standards.
* Technical Guidance: Provide expert technical knowledge on construction methods, materials, and regulations, ensuring that all teams adhere to the best practices and industry standards.
* Documentation & Reporting: The QA Manager will ensure accurate documentation of quality control activities, producing detailed reports for senior management and stakeholders.
* Problem Resolution: Identify, investigate, and resolve quality-related issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to the construction timeline.
* Training & Development: Provide training and support to site teams on quality standards and technical best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
* Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, contractors, and external consultants to ensure seamless integration of quality assurance within the overall project delivery.
Qualifications Required:
* Experience: Proven experience as a QA Manager or in a similar quality management role within the construction industry, ideally with experience on large-scale projects valued up to £300 million.
* Education: A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CQI, ISO 9001) are highly advantageous.
* Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and regulations is essential. The ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contracts is crucial.
* Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical requirements into actionable quality assurance measures.
* Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to quality assurance with the ability to spot potential issues before they arise.
