Job Title: Residential Children's Support Worker
Location: Wellingborough
We are proud to support this leading residential childcare provider with their recruitment project for a number of children's support workers and senior support workers due to the business expansion in the area. They provide a therapeutic environment to children with EBD aged between 8-17 years. Our client has seven well established residential homes registered with Ofsted.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Residential Support Worker, you will have a unique opportunity to contribute to the well-being and development of young people under our client's care. Your responsibilities will include:
* Effective Decision-Making

* Supervision and Guidance

* Specific Plan Execution

* Administrative Tasks
General Duties:
* Flexibility: Perform tasks as assigned by the Registered Managers and Deputy Managers
* Transportation: Act as a driver when required, transporting young people to school, college, activities, and shopping trips
* Sleep-In Duties: Perform sleep-in duties as per your schedule
Requirements:
* Previous experience in residential childcare - beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided
* Transferable skills acquired within other care or educational settings
* NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People Workforce or equivalent for senior roles
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
* Full, clean UK driving license
