Simply Education are working alongside a friendly primary school in Boston who are looking to recruit a teaching assistant for the new academic year.
This post will start in September and will run until at least the Christmas holiday and will be supporting a KS1 student on a 1:1 basis. Therefore the Teaching Assistant will need to be able to effectively build up rapport with the learner and be able support them in all aspects of their learning.
The Teaching Assistant will need to have a strong understanding of SEN and different strategies that they can be implemented to enhance their learning experience.

The ideal Teaching Assistant will have:
- Experience working with young people with ADHD and Autism
- Strong classroom management skills
- Confidence using technology and educational programmes
- Creativity, patience and enthusiasm for working with young students
Key responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant include:
- Providing classroom support to teachers during lessons
- Working one-on-one or in small groups to deliver tailored instruction
- Assisting with reading, writing, Maths and other subjects
- Preparing classroom materials and learning activities
- Monitoring student progress and providing feedback
- Managing student behaviour and upholding classroom rules
- Supervising classrooms, lunch breaks, and school activities as needed
