We have recently joined the Express Engineering Group who employ more than 300 employees across the two companies, Express Engineering (Fabrications) (trading as QA Weld Tech) and Express Engineering (Gateshead).
We are seeking a skilled Final Inspection and Test Assistant to join our dynamic team. The role will support the Quality and Operations team, assisting in final inspection activities to ensure all items conform to customer’s specifications and expectations and to build requirements.
Key Requirements
* Facilitate inspection activities between shop floor
* Gather, compile and verify information ensuring accurate data entry into business documents and systems.
* Communicate with key internal stakeholders on a timely basis to ensure the business can adjust where necessary to meet our Customers’ delivery requirements
* Communication on a professional basis to internal and external customers, maintaining a positive a professional relationship
* Identify and manage priority issues whilst demonstrating the ability to work under pressure
* Perform tests including external/internal hydrostatic
* Assembly of test components
* Complete all documentation associated with client/in-house testing
* Set-up parts for Post Weld Heat Treatment
* Hardness Testing
* Stamping
* Contribute to a Right 1st Time culture
