We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Testing and Inspection Specialist to join our team at Hatched Recruitment Group. This role involves performing routine testing and inspections, as well as assisting in the development and management of electrical testing and inspection contracts.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of industry standards and safety regulations, as well as excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. They will be responsible for conducting electrical testing and inspections in accordance with industry standards and regulations, ensuring all testing equipment is properly maintained and calibrated, and assisting in the development and expansion of electrical testing and inspection contracts.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of experience in electrical testing and inspection, and will be able to work independently and as part of a team. They will also have excellent communication skills for reporting and coordination.

Key qualifications and skills for this role include:

  • Proven experience in electrical testing and inspection
  • Strong understanding of industry standards and safety regulations
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Effective communication skills for reporting and coordination

Required qualifications include:

  • City & Guilds Level 3: Apprentice trained in an electrical engineering discipline
  • City & Guilds 2391: Or an equivalent qualification in Testing & Inspection
  • 18th Edition Electrical Qualification: Up-to-date certification required

Desirable qualifications include:

  • Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS): Experience with systems such as SAM FM
  • Higher National Diploma (HND) / Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Electrical Engineering: Advanced qualifications in electrical engineering
  • Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) / Safety Passport: Certification or training in occupational safety
