Summary of Main Duties and Responsibilities :

As the Showroom Assistant you will support all aspects of sales and operations of the showrooms (Belgravia and Chelsea Harbour).

Reporting to the London Showrooms Manager, with a key focus on providing administrative and operational support to the Showrooms Manager and the Sales Team.

Key Responsibilities

To assist the showroom manager and sales team within both showrooms when required.nGeneral administration assistance and internal data updates (spreadsheets)nAssist with showroom merchandising and upkeep to DLC StandardsnUpkeep and replenishment of samples library for clients.nAssist in following up of general retail clients' sample orders.nPolitely greet clients on entry to the showroom.nAssist with stock and stock takes. Stock request, transfers, header loans and processing returns.nAssist with any administrative and other reasonable tasks as and when required by management.

Requirements:

Ability to multitask and assist throughout the showroomnKeen to learn attitude with an interest in interiors and fabrics.nPrevious showroom experience in interior textiles/related industrynStrong administrative skillsnAbility to work as part of a team and be proactive.nFlexibility to different tasks and the ability to follow procedures.nHighly organised and conscientiousnHigh standards of personal presentationnFluent in English with excellent written and oral skillsnFlexible to work between Chelsea Harbour and Belgravia ShowroomsnProficient in the use of MS Office

The normal working hours are 9:00am – 6pm. The Belgravia Showroom opens on Saturdays; therefore, weekend work will be required.
