Showroom Assistant

Hours: 9am to 6pm (5 days a week including Saturdays)

Showroom Based: Belgravia and Chelsea Harbour

Summary of Main Duties and Responsibilities :

As the Showroom Assistant you will support all aspects of sales and operations of the showrooms (Belgravia and Chelsea Harbour).

Reporting to the London Showrooms Manager, with a key focus on providing administrative and operational support to the Showrooms Manager and the Sales Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • To assist the showroom manager and sales team within both showrooms when required.
  • General administration assistance and internal data updates (spreadsheets)
  • Assist with showroom merchandising and upkeep to DLC Standards
  • Upkeep and replenishment of samples library for clients.
  • Assist in following up of general retail clients' sample orders.
  • Politely greet clients on entry to the showroom.
  • Assist with stock and stock takes. Stock request, transfers, header loans and processing returns.
  • Assist with any administrative and other reasonable tasks as and when required by management.

Requirements:

  • Ability to multitask and assist throughout the showroom
  • Keen to learn attitude with an interest in interiors and fabrics.
  • Previous showroom experience in interior textiles/related industry
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and be proactive.
  • Flexibility to different tasks and the ability to follow procedures.
  • Highly organised and conscientious
  • High standards of personal presentation
  • Fluent in English with excellent written and oral skills
  • Flexible to work between Chelsea Harbour and Belgravia Showrooms
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office

The normal working hours are 9:00am – 6pm. The Belgravia Showroom opens on Saturdays; therefore, weekend work will be required.
