Senior Incident Manager

Location: London


Role Overview: As a Senior Incident Manager, you will work within a technical team to manage complex infrastructure environments, ensuring the swift and effective resolution of major incidents. You will play a key role in global coordination, analysing service collisions, and monitoring the execution of changes until resolution.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing IT incidents to minimise disruption and restore normal operations as quickly as possible.
  • Document and prioritise incident reports, categorising them based on severity and impact.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and end-users regarding incident status and resolutions.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to diagnose and resolve incidents, escalating critical issues as needed.
  • Organise and facilitate Post Incident Reviews (PIRs) to capture lessons learned.
  • Regularly update and maintain incident management toolsets.
  • Participate in post-incident reviews to determine root causes and prevent recurrence.
  • Deliver high-quality presentations detailing incident timelines, causes, and resolutions.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of incident management processes, adhering to established guidelines.


Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in IT Incident Management and leadership roles.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL practices and incident management frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
