This is key to enabling us to deliver on the promises we've made to the people of Wales to build a sustainable transport network that meets their needs.Role responsibilities Develop, implement, and review HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal standards, best practice and alignment with the company's vision and culture. Work with stakeholders including Trade Unions to seek agreement and keep them informed of any changes to policies.Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Develop HR policies and procedures by researching and benchmarking best practices and consulting stakeholders to ensure alignment with legal requirements and organisational goals. Manage the review of existing HR policies and procedures through the creation of a policy review schedule to identify gaps and suggest improvements, maintaining legislative compliance and relevance in a changing workforce landscape. Drive continuous improvement through evaluating industry trends, best practice and opportunities to align policies across both TfW entities to keep HR practices dynamic and effective. Manage policy communication by creating accessible policy documents, working in collaboration with the Communications team to deliver updates, and engage employees through digital platforms to ensure clarity and adherence across all levels of the organisation. Who we're looking for Proven work experience of writing people policy documents. Knowledge of employment legislation. Experience in policy development and implementation. Ability to analyse complex information and provide clear, actionable recommendations. Personable with communication and relationship building capabilities across all levels of the business. Welsh Language Skills The ability to speak/write Welsh would make a great addition to your application, but it is not essential for this role.Transport for Wales supports and promotes the use of the Welsh Language by employees and will encourage them to develop, improve and maintain their Welsh Language skills.
