Electrical installation lecturer

Protocol are working closely with a Further Education college based in Romford to help recruit for an Electrical Installation lecturer on a Long term temporary basis.
The role;
* Full time hours - 35 hours per week.
* Long term temporary contract.
* You will be responsible for training, assessing and lecturing for a caseload of candidates and be involved in the quality assurance of programmes.
* To train, support and assess students on workplace programmes to deliver high quality outcomes, this will include some in-house delivery.
* Liaise with candidates and workplace supervisors to ensure convenient visit arrangements, either in College or on employers’ premises, as applicable.
* Administer tests in college or on employers’ premises as appropriate.
* Use IT to support the student in a flexible learning environment and to support efficient working practices.
* Induct and support candidates in achieving their qualifications/apprenticeships, in line with awarding body/sector skills assessment practices, within agreed timescales.
Have you got what it takes?
* Hold a vocational qualification minimum level 3 in electrical installation
* Hold an Assessor Award (D32/33 or A1 or TAQA)
* DBS on the update service
* Hold a teaching or training qualification, level 5
